A question from ‘Kitne Admin The’ Bizquiz that happened in Google Meet

It’s cliche to say a few things by now in this year — that things are ‘unprecedented’, that there is a ‘new normal’ in place and that many physical world atoms and experiences have moved online.

Yes, many ‘unprecedented’ things have happened this year. Work has mostly become and will probably stay remote. Schools have moved to online classes and big ticket movies are streaming online on OTT platforms. Every major thing in pre-Covid era that resisted moving online have realized that bits are indeed way more resilient than atoms and have joined the ongoing march to the online world. Some of this is partly to avoid becoming obsolete and partly from the fear of missing out.

Now that the cliched intro is done, Has Quizzing in India moved online?

Some of them, Yes. The quizzes which were usually restricted to the top echelons of a select few quiz clubs in major cities are now more democratized with the move to online platforms. And with the move comes new possibilities and new problems.
